🔒 [THIS WAS ONCE A DREAM OF THE NEW FUTURE. NOW, IT IS NOT SO SIMPLE.]
The snow allows past sins to be forgotten. Seeing this wintery wasteland fills you with a certain power.
Commandeering the snowstorm, the man allowed the world to begin a great slumber. He hoped that it would allow him to be the only entity acting during this time, allowing him to begin his plan fully to defeat The Friend. Unbeknownst to him, civilizations survived in wretched agony. That civilization began worshipping The Author, allowing him to begin rebuilding himself yet again, allowing The Man to eventually commune with him, to create the means to the end that was Serena. Yet, this civilization created the ultimate beasts, the ones who unsealed The Friend.
The plan wasn't what mattered to The Man... not at this point. In truth, he took this time to get lost in his dreams. Always an idealist at heart... he dreamed of a new future...
Sure, The Friend wasn't an active part of his new future, but its influence only extended to his world.
Sure... I'm telling you this happened, am I not? But there were no witnesses. In truth, this is what you call "worldbuilding", isn't it? None of it could ACTUALLY happen...
